Level 2 Handball Coaching Course – part 5

MHA’s Level 2 Handball Coaching Course initiated in October 2016 has reached its final stages with part 5 being held between the 7th and 13th December 2017.  Part 6 consisting of practical sessions within clubs is underway and part 7 that includes the written and practical exams are planned to take place in January 2018.

Mr. Alexandru Acsinte, EHF Lecturer, will be delivering sessions as follows:

Friday 8th December: 
09:00 -12:00: (Practical)  Defending the opponent’s fast break- the role of the keeper and running back from attack (Venue: USH)
15:00-17:00: (Theory)  Coaching skills – Self-reflective coaching (Venue: MHA Office)
Saturday 9th December: 
09:00- 12:00 (Theory) Managing the emotions towards referees and players during the game (Venue: MHA Office)
15:00-18:00 (Practical) Building numerical advantage in defence (trapping, in order to make opponent do mistake) (Venue: USH)
Sunday 10th December: 
09:00-12:00 (Practical) Beating the advanced defence (from 3:3 attack to 2:4 and the use of the crossing) (Venue: USH)
Wednesday 13th December: (Mr. Joe Tanti)
0900-1200 (Theory) Coaching Philosophy (Venue: MHA Office)
