Tournament favourites Israel beat Malta 24 goals to 9. In the first match, Cyprus beat Armenia by 2 goals.
The Maltese girls started the match very well, in the first 10 minutes, the score was 3 each. On the 10 minute, Malta left back Stef Desjardins got a two minute suspeension and Israel took advantage of the situati...on and scored 3 goals. Malta tried their best to keep momentum but Israel took control of the match. The first half ended 13 - 4 in favour of Isreal
In the second half despite trying to make a comeback, Malta didn’t manage to cut back on Israel's advantage. Israel emerged winners after a good handball performance in their home land.
